This little potty is great! It is very sturdy and the opening is plenty big so you don't have to worry about your child out growing it (unlike the fold out travel versions from Fisher Price and Potette). Also, no liner bags to worry about and with the liquid flowing to the bottom, you don't even see it if you have to go a couple of times before you empty it. It's small and portable, but comfy and big enough. I even used it myself once in the car with a "pregnancy pee" emergency!

My toddler loves this seat - as do I. It is truly spill proof and it makes it so easy when you're 2yr old announces she has to go the bathroom when you're on the road. Just pulling over into a parking lot, putting her in the back of the SUV and making sure to have tp or wipes and hand wash on hand and it's a quick little pit stop. There are other seat covers out there, but this one is superior. The tape keeps them from falling in the toilet and they are waterproof, for icky situations. Great for travel. I even use them myself when we are in a restroom that doesn't supply the paper ones. Of course, we can't flush them. I just put them in the sanitary napkin disposal bins.

Pros:

-not bulky (take as many as you want)

-waterproof (if there are drops on the seat, they won't leak through)

-stay put (I use them for my 2-1/2 year old and I've used them myself and I've never had a problem w/ them shifting out of place... I think your kid would have to be REALLY squirmy for them to move)



Cons:

-I wish the covers and the little pieces of plastic that you remove to stick it down were somehow flushable... it would make it that much more convenient...

As my 2 yr daughter started potty training, the thought of her using public restrooms grossed me out. It was bad enough with my son but he mostly can avoid touching the toilets. I searched and found these. My only concern was that they would not be large enough to keep her hands from touching the toilet as she held on. That fear was out the window as soon as she sat on one the first time. They are plenty large enough. The sticky tabs hold tight and keep the topper in place. Sometimes I have to tug pretty hard to get the tabs unstuck. I've been telling everyone I know how great they are. I've even used them. I can see me having potty toppers on hand for many, many years.

I bought these toppers thinking, "Wow, they stick to the potty!" and when I got them I was a little disappointed to see there were only 2 strips of tape on the bottom, but the first time I used one, I quickly realized that, although there are only 2 strips, THEY HOLD! I practically had to rip the topper apart to get it off the seat, and my son absolutely loved it! I folded one and tucked it in the back of my wallet, so that I always have one handy while we're out and about. I have highly recommended these to my friends and family, and will continue to use them.

Although these were designed for children, they were a lifesaver for me. I had a stroke in June and am in a wheelchair. We took a roadtrip from Illinois to Louisiana & not one bathroom had toiletseat covers in them. These seatcovers are large enough to cover the whole seat, nice & thick for the "not so clean" restrooms,and the easy to remove tape kept them in place as I transferred from the wheelchair. I would HIGHLY recommend them for both chidren & adults.

This is a very helpful product - I am no longer afraid to take my child to a public restroom. It's waterproof, thin and convenient to carry around. It covers the whole seat with a little overhang for kids to hold onto. However, when a toddler waits until the last minute to use the potty and you're rushing to unfold and remove the adhesives at the back, it's like the worst thing! The removable adhesives are small and it's hard to find the part to pull. I wish they would re-look at the design of this product - it could be an even better-selling product if the adhesives were larger and easier to remove.

I was hoping for something lightweight and easy to carry for potty training purposes. I definitely got what I asked for, but I didn't ask to get my daughter's butt cheeks to get pinched in the process! Aside from this seat being flimsy, the package was missing the "travel bag" it was supposed to come with. Needless to say, I returned it and got the padded travel potty seat instead. It's a little bulkier to have to lug around, but my little girl is so much more comfortable!

It feels very flimsy, like there's no way it would hold her up, and her skin could easily get pinched in the "no-pinch" hinges. No handles, so there's nothing to hold on to besides the dirty toilet. Not worth the $[...], even with free shipping.

For $10 I thought this would be worth trying. It's ... all right. Mine is clearly a return -- bag was scotch-taped together and there was no storage bag in the package. "Round" is a strange design choice, given how common oval toilet seats are. With the foam pads, though, I can make it steady enough on the seat for the purpose. Not crazy about those, since it makes disinfecting more difficult. But, the seat is better than absolutely nothing.

I bought this potty for traveling. It worked great on airplanes, but you really have to make sure it is open fully before you put your child on. I had the unfortunate experience of it pinching in an airplane bathroom. You can imagine the result. The potty also isn't the best for public toilets, because they have long and wide bowls and this potty isn't that stable on them. I used it when I needed to, but my child didn't enjoy the process.

We purchased this product about a month ago based on a friend's recommendation. It is small and easy to carry. The bags are expensive but you can find doggy waste bags that fit it just right (good job amiga!) and just place some paper towel inside of them. Having this Potette is very practical when you are at the park or mall and do not want your child to sit in a public toilet or be uncomfortable because the toilet is too big. My daughter has been using it since I got it and really likes it. Her only complain every time she sits on it is that 'it hurts.' It seems to hurt her buttocks a little because it doesn't have any padding and she's putting all her weight on it. But she is done quickly and happy that she used her 'little potty.'

I love this portable potty seat!!!



My arms tired of holding my 2 year old son so he won't fall into public toilets, and after an incident where one automatically flushed under him, I decided to get a portable, foldable potty seat for use while we are out and about.

This is the first one I have tried (I studied them carefully, pros and cons)and I LOVE it for what it is. It folds up small, it supports my son well without fear of falling in, it does not pinch him at all (hinges are covered), it fits at the FRONT of the toilet seat, it's a great thing to have on hand. My son likes it because it's an "exciting" new thing to him. It has greatly reduced his fear of the auto-flush, and we have had no problems with it.

Did everything properly, but the seat slid around and then pinched my son's bum when he sat down because it flexed when he put his weight on it. It was worth a try, but I wouldn't recommend this seat, or any like it, for that matter.
