 "Works great!" 2009-12-23
By Pretty Pretty Princess (Vancouver, WA)
This seat works great. It took a minute to figure out that it sits on the front of the toilet seat and not back, but as of yet I have had no problems using it while out and about with my child. It folds and fits nicely in my diaper bag.

 "Awesome!" 2009-12-15
By Christy Long (Florida)
I love this portable potty seat!!!

My arms tired of holding my 2 year old son so he won't fall into public toilets, and after an incident where one automatically flushed under him, I decided to get a portable, foldable potty seat for use while we are out and about.

This is the first one I have tried (I studied them carefully, pros and cons)and I LOVE it for what it is. It folds up small, it supports my son well without fear of falling in, it does not pinch him at all (hinges are covered), it fits at the FRONT of the toilet seat, it's a great thing to have on hand. My son likes it because it's an "exciting" new thing to him. It has greatly reduced his fear of the auto-flush, and we have had no problems with it.

 "Does it's job" 2009-12-11
By R. Partyka (NJ USA)
This potty seat does it's job. It's small enough that it fits in my 2.5 year old's diaper bag along with an extra set of clothes, a few diapers, wipes, snacks, etc. He has used it successfully a few times and seems to be ok with it. I wish it were a bit more sturdy, but it is a foldable, portable potty seat after all. For the price, and for what it is, it is totally worth it!

 "Pinched his bum!" 2009-11-30
By Melissa Brown (New Hampshire)
I read all the reviews and decided to give this seat a try anyway. Did everything properly, but the seat slid around and then pinched my son's bum when he sat down because it flexed when he put his weight on it. It was worth a try, but I wouldn't recommend this seat, or any like it, for that matter.

 "It does the job." 2009-10-15
By Proud Mommy (Charlotte, MI United States)
This potty seat has really helped my child progress through potty training. It fits well into a diaper bag. The only down fall is that it does not fit public toilets very well, as they are oblong.

 "breaks like a wafer" 2009-08-26
By Vizag1 (east cost)
It looked and felt good. But as soon as my kid who is only about 25 lbs barely sat on it,it crumbled like a cookie. On closer inspection, the folding joint in the middle is poorly designed with no additional support.

But wait, there is more.. we could not return the product, because the store does not accept any, in the name of hygiene. We do understand the basis, but why cant we return a defective product when it breaks even before your kid gets to use it the first time!

Anyway, seems like almost all the 'good' foldable seats are made by the same company!

"makes all pottys seem the same!" 2008-11-17
By AJD (Over There)
We got this potty for our son when he was potty training. It was WONDERFUL! We used it at home on our big toilet. Then we took it with us to stores and he brought it to day care. It made all pottys seem the same. Anyone who is or has ever potty trained a child knows that going to a strange bathroom can be very scary for them!

I read some reviews on this and other similar seats. We had no issues with it pinching or collapsing in. You do have to make sure the front lip is over the front of the toilet. I have a feeling some of the other people who posted negative responses may not have positioned the seat correctly on the bowl. It fits round and oval shaped seats.

After my son used it we just washed it in the sink while we washed hands. It was part of the routine. I totally recommend this seat for anyone potty training!!!

 "Easy to bring around" 2009-09-12
By P. Sng (Singapore)
It folds up small enough to pop into my bag and fits over most adult toilet seats (I did encounter one instance when the potty seat didn't actually fit right over the loo seat, hence the 4-star rating instead of 5). Easy to use and perfect when bringing my 3 year old out with me.

 "Very useful" 2009-02-16
By Pradeep Nair (SAn Jose, CA USA)
This has been extremely useful during travel. Fits well on toilet seats on planes. Otherwise we would have had to resort to diapers for amy 3 year old who is getting potty trained.

 "Pinches " 2009-01-06

This would pinch my daughters bottom so she hatted it. I think it is a great idea. I would keep it folded in a zip lock bag for traveling. Fits on almost every toilet.

"works well for my daughter" 2008-06-04
By AmyLynne (Michigan)
we got this as a hand-me-down from a friend and it still works well for my 2yr old daughter (35lbs). she feels perfectly safe when sitting on it and it's gotten multiple uses per day for 3 months now - she's almost to the point she doesn't need it anymore, so i don't expect to worry about how it will hold up. i don't think i'd use it again for my other daughter though, because i'm worried about it holding up for a third kid, but for $10, i'll just buy a new one.

"Cute, Compact But Not Overly Functional" 2009-09-16
By K. Stroud (Prairie Village, KS)
I purchased the Sesame Street Folding Travel Potty Seat for my 3 year old daughter. She was recently potty trained and I was concerned about the sanitariness of public restrooms. Not all public restrooms have toilet seat covers. I thought that this would be compact enough to fit in my diaper bag; which it is. I also thought that she would find the Sesame Street characters fun; which she did. The downfall is that the folding potty seat does not fit very well on the toilet. It slides around and is not very stable. It passes as useable but I wish it sat and stayed in place a little better.

 "Travel Potty Seat" 2009-09-14
By tljyes (King of Prussia, PA)
We bought this after my sister had bought it for her daughter and really liked it. Our son is almost four and average weight and height. We have had no problems with it sliding, pinching, or folding while our son is sitting on it. He feels very secure using it. We travel a lot and this is exactly what we needed.

 "My son fell too!" 2009-06-26
By jenmar
My son also broke the seat and fell in. He is 2 and a half. It also didn't seem to sit very securely on any toilet we put it on. He needed to have me sit him on it. It wouldn't have been good for pooping. I wouldn't recommend this product. We switched to using a cushie tushie potty ring. We just carry a bag large enough to hold it. He is much more comfortable and secure. I think he also likes the fact that it is the same one he uses at home.

 "Not sturdy at all" 2009-06-15
By Jme
We bought this traveling potty just in case my son needed to use the bathroom while we were out. He's only 30lbs and when I put him on this seat, it looked like the thing was going to break. He refuses to use it and I don't blame him! It's a good concept, but the seat bends and looks like the hinges will break with even a skinny kid sitting on it. I don't recommend this item for anyone!

 "falling" 2009-03-01
By Ricky Raines
I bought this folding seat for my son, first use it sliped and fell into the toilet. The purpose was sanitary purposes and to make my child feel comfortable to use while running errands in town. I will not use it again. At home we use the Potty Pal flip lid, which we love.
