I bought these when I was potty training my daughter. It made potty emergencies at the store so much calmer! No more, "Don't touch that!!" It covered most seats completely. The sticky tape stuck with no problem. However, you had to be careful not to pull too hard when removing it or it would stay stuck and the cover would rip around it. Once you figure out how to take it off at an angle with out ripping it, it's a cinch!

There are other seat covers out there, but this one is superior. The tape keeps them from falling in the toilet and they are waterproof, for icky situations. Great for travel. I even use them myself when we are in a restroom that doesn't supply the paper ones. Of course, we can't flush them. I just put them in the sanitary napkin disposal bins.

I've bought these for the second time and I know I'll continue to buy them for awhile...



Pros:

-not bulky (take as many as you want)

-waterproof (if there are drops on the seat, they won't leak through)

-stay put (I use them for my 2-1/2 year old and I've used them myself and I've never had a problem w/ them shifting out of place... I think your kid would have to be REALLY squirmy for them to move)



Cons:

-I wish the covers and the little pieces of plastic that you remove to stick it down were somehow flushable... it would make it that much more convenient...

As my 2 yr daughter started potty training, the thought of her using public restrooms grossed me out. It was bad enough with my son but he mostly can avoid touching the toilets. I searched and found these. My only concern was that they would not be large enough to keep her hands from touching the toilet as she held on. That fear was out the window as soon as she sat on one the first time. They are plenty large enough. The sticky tabs hold tight and keep the topper in place. Sometimes I have to tug pretty hard to get the tabs unstuck. I've been telling everyone I know how great they are. I've even used them. I can see me having potty toppers on hand for many, many years.

I bought these toppers thinking, "Wow, they stick to the potty!" and when I got them I was a little disappointed to see there were only 2 strips of tape on the bottom, but the first time I used one, I quickly realized that, although there are only 2 strips, THEY HOLD! I practically had to rip the topper apart to get it off the seat, and my son absolutely loved it! I folded one and tucked it in the back of my wallet, so that I always have one handy while we're out and about. I have highly recommended these to my friends and family, and will continue to use them.

I purchased the Sesame Street Folding Travel Potty Seat for my 3 year old daughter. She was recently potty trained and I was concerned about the sanitariness of public restrooms. Not all public restrooms have toilet seat covers. I thought that this would be compact enough to fit in my diaper bag; which it is. I also thought that she would find the Sesame Street characters fun; which she did. The downfall is that the folding potty seat does not fit very well on the toilet. It slides around and is not very stable. It passes as useable but I wish it sat and stayed in place a little better.

My son also broke the seat and fell in. He is 2 and a half. It also didn't seem to sit very securely on any toilet we put it on. He needed to have me sit him on it. It wouldn't have been good for pooping. I wouldn't recommend this product. We switched to using a cushie tushie potty ring. We just carry a bag large enough to hold it. He is much more comfortable and secure. I think he also likes the fact that it is the same one he uses at home.

We bought this traveling potty just in case my son needed to use the bathroom while we were out. He's only 30lbs and when I put him on this seat, it looked like the thing was going to break. He refuses to use it and I don't blame him! It's a good concept, but the seat bends and looks like the hinges will break with even a skinny kid sitting on it. I don't recommend this item for anyone!

I bought this folding seat for my son, first use it sliped and fell into the toilet. The purpose was sanitary purposes and to make my child feel comfortable to use while running errands in town. I will not use it again. At home we use the Potty Pal flip lid, which we love.
